1921 born in Zurich, Switzerland
2006 dies in Zurich, Switzerland
1936–1939 Grammar school in Zurich (CH)
Early photographs taken with a „Five-Franc-Camera“ (small AGFA box camera)
1942 Military training followed by active military service
1948 Begins photographing for the gay journal “Der Kreis”
1955–1986 Extended unemployment followed by job as a warehouseman with Siemens-Alibis
1958 Member of Naturfreunde photography club (Association of Nature Enthusiast)
Meets first „Halbstarke“ youths and begins photographing them using a Rolleiflex 2.8 camera
1960 Retires from active membership in Der Kreis; his photographs continue to be published in the journal until the dissolution of Der Kreis in 1967
Travels to Sicily, Lipari an Lampedusa
1964–1976 Freelance photographer for Swiss sports magazines Status Sport, Turnen an Sport; continues to photograph biker gangs and other frige groups
